~Welcome to the Call of The Spirits RP!~

Setting: This RP is in a far away world in a town called Millsgrove. The local school is named Strong Oaks Acadamy and it is the only school in hours so everyone who doesn't home school goes there. Strong Oaks Acadamy has no uniforms but is a strict school. The average ages in this RP are 12-14 but you may make your charrie any age you like.

Characters: Every charrie in this RP over 11 will have two forms. One human, and one animal. (Spirit Animal) Every year, a ceremony is held for all the new 12-year-olds. In the ceremony, they acquire their 2nd form. Each kid steps up onto a platform and touches an ancient stone called the Spirit stone. Finally, they can acquire their Spirit Animal. You can choose what your charrie's 2nd form can be, it could be any type of an animal.

Start Of The RP: It was a scorching hot Friday in March and Fern sat on the bench at recess. It wasn't she didn't want to have fun but she was also anxious like all the other 12-year-olds. Today, after school, was the Spirit ceremony. Fern fiddled with her lava rock bracelet. What would happen when she touched the Spirit Stone in front of everyone? Would it hurt? What would her second form be? Would she like her second form? How long would it take? All these questions swam inside her head as she tried to answer each one. She thought and worried until her head hurt. Today might be the biggest day of her life.

I could, that does seem to match. I'm being too picky I know but I wanted something a bit less common XD I'm really overthinking this. Any smart, gentle animal with a mothering instinct could be like that. And if she's protective of those she loves then I could count the mothering instinct, right? So maybe a bird, those are dead smart and make great parents, or an otter.

She could be a cheetah. they stay with their young for 5+ years!

The shrill ear-splitting bell rang for the next class. Recess was officially over. Fern winced. She never liked loud sounds. Why the need if you could hear perfectly fine at a normal volume? Things like this wandered Ferns mind whenever they felt like it and it seemed like they never ended.
