CALLING ALL MAINERS!!!!>>Lost chicken?

I'm not sure if this will work, but I need to notify all Mainers that there's a Rhode Island Red hen walking alone on the side of the road that we saw. Location: Maine. If there are any Mainers on here who have a Rhode Island Red hen missing, please let me know. We don't know whether to go pick her up or leave her alone; we don't want to steal her if she's owned by soneone.

The hen was in good condition and alone when we saw her. She was all dark brownish/red colored with a darker tail, and a fairly small comb.
