Calling all NEW Brinsea Eco owners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a Brinsea for my Christmas..ordered it on Monday so hopefully I wont have to wait for the back log to catch up. I would love to do a brinsea hatch along with other newbies. I will be hatching out duck eggs and would be greatful for any help. Or is this post just for chicken people?

I just got mine because of the price, but I will not be incubating till March 7 so as to have the hatch coincide with my daughters 6th birthday March 27. I will be following this thread however as well as doing a test run prior to the real deal for temps, humidity control etc... Good luck to you all. It is going to be hard for me to wait!!!

So excited to see this thread!

Just got my Brinsea Eco (got the auto-turner) in the mail the other day. Merry Christmas from me to me!

I'm hoping to purchase some hatching eggs when I'm in Ohio between Christmas and New Years (

), and if so I'll probably be starting New Year's weekend. It will be so great to do this with others! Happy Holidays everybody!

Count me in as I'm suppose to be gettin a Brinsea for Christmas. Can anybody point me in the right direction of who to order Banty eggs from that is close to East TN.? Also, when do I need to place my order? I have never used an incubator so I'm gonna need all the help I can get, lol. I'm gonna start buildin my brooder in a day or two & it's gonna be kept outside. My plan is to build a 3ft. wide by 6ft. long by 2ft. tall brooder & have it on 3ft. legs. I will be postin pictures of it as I go along.

One piece of advice (thank you Mary AKA the Warden) that I got before ordering my Brinsea is to make sure you register your incubator serial number with Brinsea as soon as you get it. There is a 2 year warrantee on them but only if they are registered. It is very simple to do and the instructions are in the paperwork that you get with your bator.
