I'm about an hour and a half south of Indy (between Bloomington and Bedford).
I'm going to test the incubator with my own eggs first - Silkie over EEs.

Later I will have some "fancy" eggs shipped - Polish, Sebrights and Silkies.

How about you? What eggs are putting in? Is it your first time hatching?

I think I might do it on Friday as well. They take time coming out, hopefully it would fall on Saturday or Sunday.

Cool! Well...I'm putting some local eggs in that are just a mixed backyard flock-she has they are Ameracaunas and GL Wyandottes. I'd like to do some hatches with these eggs and see what comes out and maybe use them as a meat flock if theyt aren't keepers...but they could be really pretty! Plus she's selling them to me for her regular eating egg price at 2.50/doz so I figured the first time I'd start with cheap eggs and see how it goes! I'd like to do some fancy eggs at some point too, though!

Got my 'bator today!!!!

However, when I was assembling the autoturner I noticed that the screws don't screw down all the way and that the cradle doesn't sit flat on the table... did I do something wrong?

Also here is what Brinsea has to say; OK. The winner will be selected at random from the participants which post a picture of their hatch. At least one egg has to hatch and pictures need to be posted on Brinsea's Facebook page also.
