Oh, I just got a Brinsea Octogon 20 Advance at the end of January and would like to hatch-a-long with you fine folks.

My very first hatch is due around February 8th and consists of seventeen mail-order Black Copper Marans and 7 of my eggs (Barnevelder and Easter Egger ones).
I am very excited and my husband is very worried: I have already lined up some Ameraucana eggs from a member of the Ameraucana Breeders Club for the second week of February...and have been checking on some Buckeye and Barnevelder eggs too

If I don't start my eggs until the very end of Feb.,,can I still be in the event? They won't hatch until March. Or, is this for hatches that will occur in Feb.?

I need to wait till the end of the month because I am going to try to add the (hopefully) newly hatched peeps to the day old peeps I will be receiving around March 21st or so. I think it will be easier to have all the peeps just about the same age. Plus, I need to build a new coop when they outgrow the brooder, and here in western NY, it will definitely be April before I can do that!
