Calling all Penedesencas Owners/Breeders

U must have almost failed math in school like i did lol... or else chicken math does not play by the normal math rules... i can never seam to have enough pens ether lol...
you sure did. I did not get very far on my run build this weekend. Helping a friend with some irrigation.
I have to finish it next weekend though as I have to shuffle chickens., the black penedesenca need to go out in the grow up run , coop. so the ameraucana blue eggers and some crele and white emps need to go to the new big coop.. Then the emps and crele will go to there breeder coops and the roosters well not sure yet. I need to keep extras but not sure where to put them once the black penedesenca go in with the ameraucana

they are listed on ebay. It could be the light to
Did you win the Auction?

I might have Partridge and Wheaten chicks hatching today or tomorrow...or the next day. They are Penedesencas....

I have 6 left from the 14 shipped to me--4 were smashed in shipping. The others were clears with one pulled before I moved them to the hatcher.

I have decided to sell 2 or 3 hens from my project color... they are partridge color with white legs... if bred to a good partridge rooster they should throw 100% correct offspring... they are all about 1 yr old or younger and laying great right now... they are a result of a Crele hen under a white rooster... with this cross i got single barred crele roosters and these hens... i bred them back to a white rooster and have several very nice buff Colombian looking pullets and roo's growing out of them... i am going to try to breed this project to its logical conclusion... I'm not sure if all the genes are there for pure buff... so ill more than likely end up with BTB or Buff Colombian... ether is fine with me... i should know by this fall what i can make out of it...

these hens would make a great out cross for someone that needs new blood in there partridge Pen's...

Just so y'all know the genetics's of these... there are 2 base colors of Pen's in the USA 3 if you count the White Emp's... Black and Wheaten... Partridge is Wheaten with the addition of the penciling gene... Crele is Partridge with the addition of the barring gene... so when i crossed the white with the crele i separated the barring gene out... which left me with pure partridge split to white with the wrong leg color as the crele have white legs and the whites have yellow legs... if you bred these to a good partridge rooster the dark legs will cover the white legs...

Shipping can be arranged... Pm me if your interested... Thanks, Elias
