Calling all Penedesencas Owners/Breeders

Hey, I recently got some eggs off from Ebay from a guy in PA. He says his original stock is from H&H. So far out of 7 eggs that were very well shipped I have one that hatched. I will post pictures tomorrow once I pick it up from the incubation place. I am told that the chick has feathers on it's feet. Is this normal or do you suspect some kind of mixing of french marans?

Not normal. I'd say mix.

I don't see penes on their list. Does it change from time to time?
I see they get some of their breeds from Sandhill.

I was hoping partridge. The Ebay seller recently had another offering of eggs up but I don't see anything now. I think he does 6+ a week. Anyone else get his eggs? I sent him an email but I haven't heard back from him.

I hadn't heard of H and H either but I did ask the ebay seller where his original stock came from and he said H and H. I saw Sandhill too. I currently only have one mature partridge hen and she came from MPC. I plan to get more birds from Meyer next year but I was hopeful these would be nice too.

Have you looked into Our Fly Babies? I have three pullets and a cockerel that I hatched from eggs they shipped to me.
