Are you planning on keeping the dish in the litterbox? I would not. He will pee in his cheerios.

I thought they like to potty while they eat?
I wanted to make sure all food was inside the litter box because he must litter box train.

What about if I raise the dish up higher so he can't TT and his green Cheerios?

That would be perfect. I was just worried about having it sit directly on his litter. Put it at least few inches above the pine pellets and it should be just fine.

Even the best litter trained bun will still leave little poopy balls out and about but TT in the litter box is the important issue
