I always put greens in the cage for momma and babies at weaning time…..they loved them. I continued giving them some when on the ground.Just green leafy lettuce, cilantro....regular rabbit stuff.
I don't think I'm going to do it until he's a little bit older.
I haven't figured out yet how much hey he's eating or pellets.
I did feel his little teeny tiny bowl up yesterday with pellets just because I want to see how many days it takes him to finish that little bitty bowl.
I should have taken a picture or weighed the hay or something so I would know how much she started with but I'm sure I put way too much in there to begin with.
Angeline can be Trebbie's long distance girlfriend.Hahaha! That's what Angeline does with the laundry room. So curious
Wasn't planning on it. That's something I would spend waaaaaay too much time on. My kids need to know their mother.Angeline can be Trebbie's long distance girlfriend.
Are you going to make her a YouTube channel?

I sure hope not! 5 out of my 7 are under six months and eat the same food as their parents. The babies would sneak moms veggies as soon as they could get out of the nest box. I would put it back in her food bowl but she’d keep taking it out to eat and theyd sneak more. Like @R2elk said, it depends on how much you give and what type. At this size I would give a leaf of lettuce and watch. Keep doing that each day with new foods, just a tiny amount and watch. Check his poops. Im sure you know about cecotropes, but keep an eye out on too many cecotropes and runny or too soft regular poo.I've read that he shouldn't have fresh greens until 6 months old.
Is that true?
