Calls and Cayugas 2020

Is she just doing it since Brooding or any time you come to get eggs? We have some hens that are pretty adamant about being disturbed while laying/setting they also do the bite twist thing. some just peck a couple will actually try to peck the egg. Like if I can't have it nobody can kinda thing. ornery Girls. Never have a problem with the boys :p
I don't normally have an occasion to be messing with her on the nest so I don't know. I know She's not one of the friendlier ones as far as taking treats or coming near me on a normal basis.
I don't really advocate messing with broody birds on nests but with these calls sometimes They get stuck and need just a little help getting the rest of the way out.
Sometimes the mama duck will help them sometimes not.
I try not to interfere too much. But I've found so far I am darned if I do and darned if I don't.
It sucks to go out there and see eggs nearly all the way zipped and the duckling dead inside.
