Came home to a hatched and dry chick but wasn't moving much - what to do?

I think it might have been stepped on. There is something really wrong with it and I don't think there is anything that can be done to save it.

Hello! Today is the day for hatching! One chick was outside of the nesting box. It is dry but it isn't moving a whole lot. Is there something we should do? For now we have it in a brooder box with a heat lamp :(

I am glad that it recovered, but if this smallish box, where the fluffy butt of a hen can be seen, is your broodies nestbox, the next accident is about to happen, as chicks might fall out and being unable to crawl back, will get cold and die.

Your broody needs a bigger nestbox so the chicks will not fall out.

We changed it! We thought about that since it was out.
