My sister has made friends with a rooster at a house she is looking at and she was wondering what he is. Since I have made so many friends here I told her I would ask. Might be hard not being able to see his whole body. Any thoughts?

He's a mix or crossbred. He's showing crested and feather leg in his ancestry, could be a silkie cross or just a total "backyard mutt" out of a flock composed of several breeds and mixes.

Can't tell what's up with what looks like a tuft close to his face.. coud be a beard or a tuft or just neck feathers momentarily ruffled on the grass or what.

He has a crest and leg feathering. Faverolles do not have crests, nor do the typical EE have crests or leg feathering.

It could be considered an EE though if it was EE or A or A cross over a silkie.. [IMG]
