Can anyone tell what this EE chick is?

Hi all... tried last week, but it was too early. I will get pics of all the chicks soon to see what everyone thinks, but this one in particular has me really worried that it might be a roo. It has been the slowest to feather out, has the largest comb that is ever so slightly pink, and is black and white all of a sudden... does anyone have any thoughts? I almost forgot... it is four weeks old today or tomorrow, bought in a feed store from a group of theoretically sexed chicks from a hatchery in OH and no straight run chicks were ordered, so hopefully that decrease the likelihood of a boy. Thanks!

Would pictures of the other chicks for comparison be helpful? I am hoping it's a pullet, because this is the one that my boys' teacher picked out. But if not, life will go on, I suppose.

I am definately no expert, but could you put a picture of one of the other EE chicks? The feathering is similar to how my boy feathered out, but like I keep hearing EE's are hard to identify lol

My EE cockerel also had more pink to his comb around 4 weeks then the pullet same age.

Looks like a boy to me, but EEs can be challenging to sex this early.

I'm definitely no expert but it looks just like my EE cockerel at that age. He's re-homed now but here's the thread when I asked the group what they thought. He was 8 weeks at the time.

Almost a week later, comb still not much pinker... can I still live in denial?

yes you can.....denial is a great place to be.....

just give it more time.... i have 6 EE hens, 4 have nice close pea combs and lay green/blue eggs, and i have 2 that have taller modified combs and they lay tan/pinky eggs
so she could just be one of the ones with more of the mixed and less of the blue egg gene....

i'll be your denial enabler for a while longer
