Can chick behavior (at 7-8 weeks) indicate roo v. hen?

We have a mixed group (silkies, polish, easter eggers) that hatched early July. Two, a silkie and a Polish, *play* in a completely unique way to the rest of the group--flying up at one another, bumping chests, minor flogging. They seem inseparable (ie it doesn't seem like fighting) but they go at each other all the time like this. None of the others join in. Should I take this as a warning that they might be roos?

Not necessarily, but comb color at this age can be determinant of gender.

Look for yellow orange to red combs as compared to washed out, pale, almost colorless combs. The girls won't get color in their combs until they reach point of lay.
