Hi!
I have 13 hens and we are starting to get an average of 9 eggs a day. Yey! Some of the eggs are cracked and/or dirty with poo and other goodies so we cook the eggs and give it back to the chickens. My question is, can chickens get salmonella of the eggs with poo on? I know they have salmonella in them naturally. Don't want to accidently make them sick! Can't really find anything online. Thanks in advance!
Ps. We are definitely ordering roll away egg laying boxes!
