i want to order some chicks from tsc they are not selling them in there store i found the web site one time and cant find the web site again and when you order from tsc on there web site will they ship to my house or do i pick them up at the store and if they are not selling them in the store can i still order on line

Do you have an established flock? What breed are you trying to get? Some of the TSC's do monthly swap meets. You might want to get with someone local, since most hens are going through, or have just gone through molt, and daylight hours are changing, so less eggs to hatch.

I personally would wait until more towards spring, when hens have resumed laying. Again, if there is someone locally that raises them, that would be a better bet this time of year.

Go to a thread for the state you are in, and check there. You may find someone in your area, or places where they do farm swap meets.

Chicks have a tendency to freeze to death if shipped in the winter. You can find members on this site who live within driving distance to you who may have some birds for sale. And as always, once purchased, follow proper quarantine protocol to protect your existing flock. Good luck!

You can try ordering day old chicks as well. I'm not sure who is still hatching this late for chickens, it might be worth a try looking.
