Can I clip wings to make stay

Will this make them stay? A fella has a problem of them always flying away. I said get a female, he probably will but he is 20 acres on John's Island and if the peacock can't fly will he stay

Depends on how high the fence is you want him to stay in, my peas jump a 6-7 ft fence with clipped wings.
If he is free range then clipping his wings will just make him an easy target for predators, and he will still be walking away minus being able to go into a tree at night to sleep safely away from predators.

I had a peacock for years that stayed very close to home and he only had 4 chickens for company and I never clipped his wings. I gave him grapes and chopped up hard boiled eggs, and sometimes sliced apples and tomatoes each evening. He never went far, and he always ran to see me when I was outside.
