Can I handle quail when I’m sick?

I know. This is quite a silly question. I’m just wondering if I can touch my quail while I have a fever, because I don’t want them to get sick. Thank you in advance

Most human diseases do not affect birds. There are probably a few that do, but most do not. So I think it is unlikely to be a problem.

If you need to touch them, maybe wash your hands first (because that is relatively easy, and might help keep them a little bit safer.)

You would be more likely to contract a disease from them, than giving them a disease.
