He doesnt let me pick him up. I am alpha and he is scared lol. He is very intimidating and fiesty looking but if i walk up to him, he fluffs down and jumps away. I can catch him in the coop, but i don't want him to be scared of enterig coop

I think that what you are wanting to do is something a rooster may or may not choose to do on his own. You can't force him. I don't think I would risk my chicks just because I thought it would be cute to force him to do this. Lol Hard to force a chicken to do anything unless it wants to do it.

Yes, ive decided i will let all the chickens decide who are going to be the true mothers or adoptive mothers

Relatively easy to enforce if proper setting provided. Improper setting easier to realize for some
