Can my chickens and ducks get pink eye from me?

I was wondering if my birds could get pink eye from me. I can’t find anything online on if humans can bring it to birds

Sorry, I don’t know the answer. I would assume not, since there aren’t many diseases that can pass from mammals to birds, but that’s just a guess.

I suppose it depends on what caused your conjuctivitis...but unless you've got a strain of avian influenza (and let's hope not!) I can't find anything that would cause it in both people and chickens.

I mean there is chlamydia but I'm pretty sure it's not the same kind of chlamydia.

From a quick Google search I dont believe you would be able to pass it on just like the birds can't pass their variant back to humans

But as I said I only did a quick search and haven't studied it in depth

I wouldn't think so.

My sister had pink eye a lot growing up (never washed those hands..) and she never gave it to any of our pets. Just gave it to all of us
