Can my pullet go broody before ever laying?

I located a few posts about this but didn't find an answer.
First time with chickens and my 6 hens are 21 weeks old. Two have started laying. Eggs I've received are 1) dark brown 2) brown speckled and I'm assuming these are from the Marans or Wyandotte.
So safe to say my Easter Egger has not started laying. But she's spent the last 2 days either sitting on a ceramic egg or chilling by the next boxes while the others are foraging.
Is she getting ready to lay or is she broody or something else? Should I lock her out of the coop?

Sounds like she is practicing and getting ready to lay.

Very UNlikely she is going broody.

She laid a pretty blue egg on my porch that afternoon! Still waiting on a second one!
