Can only keep one... which one? update: Scooter stayed w/ us

Janice (buff laced polish) and Itty (BSL) went to live with another BYCer last weekend. Scooter is getting a great big 'fro and has a great little personality!

I wound up with 10 chickens in the city because of the "just one more" tendency. My intent a year ago was to get 2, wait 2 years, and then get 2 more (total: 4). I had 4 chickens within a month of deciding to get just 2!! And then it went to 6, then to 8, then to 10. Eep!

Hey Jenn - I was SUCCESSFUL in holding off on getting more layers this spring. I have the same 2-year plan that you do. I was only successful because the hatchery apparently had an incubator that didn't hatch.

So the order didn't come in, and my feedstore gave me the option of canceling. Somehow, I found the strength to do so.

i think you should keep scooter. if he gets friendier every day, think of how friendly he'll be in5 months!

plus, flyers, although cute, might be undesirable. makes it easier for them to escape from the run.

i wouldn't be able to decide myself.
