Can Pullets Get Eggbound? Help plz

It could be a big egg trying to pass? or a Pullet egg that is small??
Leave her for a few hours in the darkness and see what happens later??
She might be getting stressed out from all the interference.?
Hard not to keep looking but give sometime...

I totally understand the concern...I wish I could help more? My help has been more of a roll of the dice!
Without being with you and the hen I can only advise you with certain opinions?

Hope I was a help? Even if only to make you feel better?

Definitely a help thank you! I will leave her be, have to run some errands anyway ;)

How is your hen doing?

MUCH better! I went to the vet yesterday to get more Baytril just in case, turns out the new dr they hired will see chickens!!!!! I was SO excited and relieved! We live in a small rural, farming community and so I was shocked really! Turns out he has chickens as well and so he offered to look her over, we brought her in and he determined it wasn't respiratory but that she did have fluid in her abdomen, not a lot but enough to warrant treatment. And she had a fever. So he prescribed MetaCam to help her temp and to start feeling better, hopefully getting her to eat and drink more and then Baytril for 5 days. He said he thought I was right about her laying internally, probably EYP caught early. He couldn't feel an egg or a broken shell. So we are hoping it was a fluke and she will lay normally from here on out because she is THE most friendly chicken we have, such a sweetheart that comes running when she sees us :D

Well *hopefully* it's deat with and it isn't something internally wrong with her that makes her lay internally etc :/ But that remains to be seen I guess.

Yeah I really do enjoy having chickens! Way more than I thought I would ;) And so does my hubby, although he isn't as quick to admit that lol!
