We're always interested in Organic methods. Since we're just starting out (chicken newbies, so to speak) we'd like to start out organic if possible & get used to the organic methods.

I would be all for it, esp. if backed up with actual research and results, even in small numbers. Ex.:Compare weight gain between 2 barred rock hens from same hatch, in good health, weighed before and after, only difference being two diffferent feeds, supplements, or whatever. Everything else controlled as far as possible. In other words, follow the scientific principle when setting up experiments. Take no money from anyone, unless up front agreement with an internal review board setting rules to publish good and bad reports with no skewing.
