Can We Poll for an Organic Section?

Hi,
I am newly join in this site. This site is very useful to others. Ex.:Compare weight gain between 2 barred rock hens from same hatch, in good health, weighed before and after, only difference being two diffferent feeds, supplements, or whatever. Everything else controlled as far as possible. In other words, follow the scientific principle when setting up experiments.

This is a great community. You would no doubt enjoy the sister sites listed at the bottom of the page. Easy garden and sufficient self discuss organics also.

I know this is an old topic, but I would love to have an organic chickens section. Am I missing it??

It would be a great area for those of us raising chickens organically to have an open forum in a consolidated area.

If I am missing a section like this, let me know. It must be hidden cause I couldnt find it.....

When I asked Nifty last he said they were not adding a section for organic right now. The reason was so many people turn it into an argument because they do not think it is right to raise chickens organically. If you do a search here on B.Y.C. you can find a lot of threads where someone asks a question like, Where can I buy organic chicken feed. Seven pages later people are arguing about the sustainability the efficiency etc. of organic farming and the thread has to be locked. I do agree though, it would be really nice to have a section to discuss organic/natural farming. I did make this thread. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=3433772#p3433772

Wow thanks for your effort in compiling all that information, I bookmarked it. It just seems like there should be an organic section where we can exchange ideas and help each other. There are different challenges in raising organic & I for one would love the interaction & experience of those in a similar situation.

Love the draft horses btw...beautiful
