Can you give me some tips on sexing RIR

My brothers neighbor has about 20 RIR's they are about 24 to 25 weeks. He hasn't heard and crowing yet but he hasn't gotten eggs either. I think the has a secret nest someplace. He never put fake eggs or golf balls in their nest box. I looked for pointed hackle and saddle feathers but they are really skittish so I didn't get a very good look. Going back over there today but I don't know much about RIR I have SS,s Wellies and and EE. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Look for saddle and hackle feathers on roos, they are thin feathers hackles are on the bottom of the neck and saddle are right before the tails, and at that age the combs on the roos should be a really good size

And the roos should have sickle feathers, they are tail feathers longer than the rest of the tail feathers, and the best way to tell is to catch them on the roost

Do the cockerels have iridescent color on their hackle? I seen one like that but it squatted when I got close. I know that my SS have that pretty iridescent green color to then and they are hens, but I have read that in some breeds only the cockerels get it.
