In my own experience it’s tricky to tell the sex with wyandottes much before 8-10 weeks when their sex is given away by wattle size and colour and saddle feathers coming in. I’ve hatched a number of laced wyandottes but I’m by no means an expert on the breed :lol:. Fingers crossed for you :fl
 
What I meant by “more feathers” is more rows of feathers.

The is for a hybrid when two beeds are crossed. Fast feathering is linked to gender. Usually pullets feather faster and cockerels feather slowly.
 
Hello everyone,

Una is now just over 6 weeks old now and I have a suspicion it's a little boy. If anyone can confirm, that would be great!
