Aww. If you post a photo at 6-8 weeks a lot of the lovely people here can tell sex just by the lacing on GLW.

I will put some photos up when Una is that age for certain! Thank you for all the help

In my own experience it’s tricky to tell the sex with wyandottes much before 8-10 weeks when their sex is given away by wattle size and colour and saddle feathers coming in. I’ve hatched a number of laced wyandottes but I’m by no means an expert on the breed . Fingers crossed for you

What I meant by “more feathers” is more rows of feathers.

The is for a hybrid when two beeds are crossed. Fast feathering is linked to gender. Usually pullets feather faster and cockerels feather slowly.
