Can you take a dog (on a leash,of course) into a Tractor Supply store?

I take my Beast in TSC all the time, the store generally has buiscuts at the check out counter.
well behaved dogs are most always welcome at TSC.
But just in case you have a manager who doesnt care for dogs call ahead.

Ditto.

I still get hassled even though my dog is in her Service Dog Vest.

But then again she isn't your normally expected Service Dog (not a German Shepard or Lab) and I don't have a visual handicap.

ETA---I love when someone says to me in a snotty way, "You don't look handicapped". I respond with, "Well, you don't look stupid either but I guess looks can be deceiving" I know, I'm bad.

The Beast isnt a typical Service Dog either and people just kinda stop and stare at him lol. but he has alerted on other diabetics who didnt realize they were headed for trouble.
when they ask why he is acting funny ( to them anyway) I have to ask if they are diabetic and do they have a meter with them.
He will alert to a seizure also.

Lil Spanky goes into our nearest TSC with me all the time. I have to laugh about the 'on a leash of course' remark tho. As soon as we get there she takes her leash in her mouth and tugs it away from me and then carries it in her mouth as we go through the store. All the cashiers and help there have gotten to know her. She acts like she owns the place, but she does stay with me. Pretty much. She has learned where the chicken feed is and she takes her leash and heads right to the back where they keep it. The only time she goes near anyone is if they talk to her. (or laugh at her because she is "taking herself for a walk") And then she just leans against them for lovin'. Last time we went they had some tanks full of baby rabbits. She hung her head over to see them, and then went on with her shopping. And they do give her treats. I have tried leaving her in the car a few times, but she cries and howls really bad.

When we go to TSC to get stuff that is outside, they come out and get my dog and bring her in for dog cookies. She loves it, attention, petting, cookies, people telling her she's pretty.................

I have taken one of my girls into TSC an nothing was said except "AWWW, can I pet her!" and I went to TSC the otther day and one of the employees had his bulldog in the store because he had to come in for a couple of hours! But as much money as I spend in TSC every month they better be glad I don't bring in a calve or chicken with me.

Thanks y'all. If I end up going there it's because I intend to spend an obscene amount of money there buying dog food that I can't get anywhere else; so they should be happy to see my boy come in their door.
