Canadians check in here....

Ill tell you this,. New brunswick especially kent county is at an all time low! Were being sold 20 extra acres for 15 thousand to go with our house
That's surprising - and sad! Our place in Carleton County has gone up since we bought 5 years ago. Hopefully you have bought at exactly the right time. Let's face it - they're not making land anymore - it should go up in price as long as population is rising.

oh yeah and the house has extreme potential. Its a gorgeous 1040 square foot 1800s farmhouse. sadly no wrap around porch XD

I think I will just take all the roosters out for a few weeks. Then put only the rooster back from the breed I want to hatch... I dunno yet, got more breeds then pens this year . Don't how it happened, I wanted to cut down (yeah, like THAT will ever happen....

). Ok, I am a far cry from the 13 breeds I use to have.
Oh yes. So much like you. lol

Still trying to figure out how I'm going to work the pens out. I have to get the fire wood out of the barn first.. Lots and lots to do.

Ummm ok. I has a question. I have hatched from chicken eggs and of course became that broody hen stairing in awe in to the little box of wonder. My question is about quail eggs... is it normal for an egg to shake? Or am I just loosing it? or need more sleep

I have never heard of them..... shaking.... but they can wobble around hatching time. Is that what you mean?
