~*Carolina Chickenstock 2011*~

So........who wants to exchange homemade banana bread or airbrush/face painting for some eggs?

I'm mostly kidding. I'm going to try to swing by this for a few hours with some friends, hopefully. ^.^ Yay.

Can anyone bring something to this or do you have to be an actual "vendor"? I'm asking more on behalf of a friend who has some extra chicks he would like to sell. I think they're RIRs, but he may have Show-quality polish and maybe some India Blue (possibly Pied) Peachicks too.

When and where is the other swap? Or is the only other one the one I missed at Tractor Supply on Killian Rd? I don't wanna buy, I just wanna look. I just wanna look. I just wanna look. I just wanna look........................................ I need help.

I wanna look, too! I'm actually thinking about a visit to my parents' as an excuse to head South. Of course if Lincolnton were closer to I-95, somebody (hubby) might believe me.

Worst part is I don't really need anything (other than a coop raising at my house). Wants, on the other hand, my 2.4 acres is probably not large enough.

Not exactly sure what you mean by "vendor"? This is open to anyone who has any type of poultry or waterfowl to sell or trade, there is no fee to come. As for the green card that is something the state requires. I am not enforcing it nor will I inspect, like Matt said he has had his for 5 years and never been checked.

Anyone bringing any magic coops to sell? You know, the kind where you bring the chickens home and just toss out the magic coop (which comes the size of a deck of cards) and it automatically expands to twice the size you need for the new chickens because it knows soon there will be others coming too.
