CAROLINA CHICKENSTOCK FALL 2012

Good fun!! I need pointers for next time on finding people! There were so many people and it was hard for me to put byc/FB names with the people I saw at chickenstock. Plus I realized I bought a chicken from someone and I don't know who they were!! Lots of people had signs but even then I guess I did not put two and two together with who I had "talked" to on here! I probably just need practice! Lots and lots of practice!!! My 10 yo loved it and it was fun to win a car decal and some baby silkies!!

Waiting to see pictures. I was not able to attend but had looked forward to going! Guess Niece's first baby was a bit more important, ;-)

The silkies were well represented:

I found this guy absolutely stunning:

There were two Jersey Giants who were truly giant in size. I couldn't get a good picture of them, though. I wanted to talk to this person, but the hubby was getting irate about how some of the other birds were caged.

There were many, many Seramas

I loved these green cages. What a neat idea!

There were lots of people!

There were pigeons

Crested ducks

A Frizzle or Sizzle who needs shade

I don't know what kind these were

Sunbathers

These two were having a discussion

This owner did well providing shade for his/her birds

Some folks found the shade

I was very sad to see birds caged in this manner. No water. No shade. Not humane.

It was a beautiful day!

Great shots

My man and I were both sad to see how some of the birds were caged. But on a good note, there were far more that were taken care of wonderfully today!!
