Hey everybody!
Just letting everybody know that my Cayuga Duckling is doing great!
It is eating and drinking a lot, yesterday it had some hard boiled egg egg yolk for a treat. Also, i sexed it and it is a GIRL! Her name is Dolly, (yes after the cloned sheep), and Dolly should be getting another little buddy to hang out with really soon! I have an egg in lockdown (day 28) and I can hear slight cherping and pecking...not to mention some major rolling around the incubator! But there is no external pip yet! it is day 28 but NO PIP!
Is that normal? I guess i should be expecting it sometime tomorrow...
but i just want it to make a pip so i know it won't run out of air in there! Will keep you guys updated!
