The 22nd is great for my family. Maybe we will be bringing home a new roo for our ladies. By the way...Pierson is right by me and I didnt know they did swaps at the feed store. I will have to look in to that. Sounds like lots of fun. This will be a first for me, a chicken swap, fun fun fun!

I live in Bell, small town west of Gainesville. I don’t have many chickens [17] 7 hens & 10 rosters, they are all white leghorns. I am looking for quail, I want to get rid of some of my rosters. I also have a few bee hives and honey. Would anyone be willing to swap honey for quail?

It's a possibility. I have some quail in the incubator right now, but I don't know how many are going to hatch. Maybe if you ask closer to the swap people will be better able to tell you what they will have. They might be interested in your chicken eggs for hatching too.

I MIGHT be able to come. My brother is coming in from NC that weekend, I just have to figure out when.

How many others are coming thus far? Many silkie owners? (Would love to see pics of you guys silkies, so maybe we can start planning out the swap!)

How far is Gainesville from Jax, I don't go that way often?

Of course it can be swap and sell!!! Whatever anybody's up for. I should have some Silkies by then, assuming that they hatch like they're suppose to! I think we have 10+ people coming so far. Gainesville is about 1.5 hours from Jacksonville I think. I'll let you know when I go up for the FL/GA game Nov. 1!
