Kelly my granddaughter is in love with her sizzles and aher little feathrfooted banty SHe names the banty Awesome because of his head coloring. She named the othr three, Carli.Sam and Marli. She convinced they are all girls but she says if ones a boy he will be Spencer.

Ok, I have officially lost my mind. At the swap, DH saw the turkey and decided he wanted turkeys, so what did I do? I just ordered 9 Royal Palm eggs! Oh, did I mention I bid on some duck eggs too? So that Crackers will have buddies of course! Somebody better need some ducklings and poults if I hatch a lot of these!

Kelly I am incubating ducks eggs right now..not Cayugas unfortunately. I had no luck with them last hatch. Hopefully this one will be better. Maybe we can do a trade later. I will be looking for a Royal Palm hen. Have a great looking tom already.

ladybug is incubating some Cayugas and I think I'm going to take 1 or 2 of those if they hatch, but I'll definitely let you know if I have any extra turkeys! Now I'm going to need to have another swap in January so I can find homes for them and the Black Australorps that are about to go in the bator. I said I wan't going to incubate any more until spring, but a friend wanted the BAs, so I figured why not throw in some turkey eggs!

Got my turkey eggs today! 9 beautiful speckled eggs! Into the bator they will go later tonight!

By the way, if anyone's still interested in a BC Marans cockerel, please let me know! I have 3 who's testosterone is starting to kick in and my EE roo isn't going to put up with them for much longer. They've been trying to mount my RIRs and my EE roo keeps knocking them off.

I want to find them new homes before things get violent.
