Right now they are still young so they have white coming in on their heads & the rest of them are brown & black. When they are fully colored they will be Green/red/white/black/yellow/gold & blue. They are gorgeous & their tails are AMAZING when they are in full color. Mine had about a 3-4-ft tail & he was shipped from up north. So he was in a shipping box & his tail got broke a little from the trip so I dont know what his tail was prior to him being shipped. I love them. These guys are prob. about 8/mo old so they are still young & if you spend time w/them they will tame down. I have one that has a good tail on him the other his tail got picked out but after his tail comes back in he will be awesome also. I had the Red golds but I got these guys & I fell in love w/them. I sell their eggs before they are laid & the babies normally sell for about $8-10 when they hatch out so in season I make pretty good money on them. But these guys I am just selling to make room for my hen in the pen w/their brother. I am running out of cage space!LOL So they have to go somewhere else.

If she doesnt want the Turkey put me on your list. I am looking for a buddy or hen for my gobbler--Just got him the other day & my Peacocks & chickens think hes crazy when he tries to snuggle up w/them.

Okay not a problem I can put them on my list to bring. I have a bunch of them & they keep hatchin babies so I can bring a young what I hope & think will be a pair. Well the Runners are not Exihibition lines they are production but they are to funny. Production lines are a little fatter than the others. But they are truly health & mad at being in w/my silkies!lol Caught them up today. They want back to the pond life!

He won't care if they are production or not. When he ordered ducks 2 years ago he wanted runners but the hatchery said you needed a special sertificate here in Florida and they would not send them They sent us pekings instead. He has wanted runners since then.

The only thing you need permits for is like Wood Ducks & Mallards & that is only if they are in an enclosed area & you have them contained I have both & they run around my pond & if they ever wanted to fly away they could. But my Wood duck drake he BEGS for cat food so I know they wont be going any where. I like the pretty colorful ones. I have Wood ducks, Madrians, Mallards, Runners, Crested Whites, Rouens, Cauguas & something else. It was supposd to be runners when I won the eggs but they ARE not runners they are blue & blue & white. I won eggs twice from the same lady up north & she said they were runner eggs I bought them & everything thinking I was getting blue runners & they ended up being something unidentifiable! But that is okay they are pretty so they can stay but I have about 30 ducks out in the pond so I can afford to sell a few Runners & share the pleasure of them w/others.lol. I will have babies next season I can enjoy watching growing up! Now remember--Runners-DO NOT sit their eggs you have to gather them & get a silkie or something else to hatch them out if you dont have a bator.

Are you sure the blues arent blue swedes. They are beautiful. I have a pair of Mallards that a friend of DH gave us they are older I don't know how much older. We have pekings,Khaki Campbells,campbell mixes. and now a mallard campbell mix Ours could fly away if they wanted to but do not. They are used to going inside at night as I do not let them stay out too many predators around. I have trained them to go inside at night and don't have any problem unless it gets dark before i put them away. Once they start to roost at night in the weeds its hard to get them inside. I can't tell you how often I have had to chase them with a flash light.

Forgot my daughter asked me today if I was taking Tyler my granddaughter with us. She says after all she should get to pick her chicks out. lol so there goes my day out without kids. Course I havent said anything to her yet she may not want to come yeah right.
