Here are some pictures of the guineas. There are 7 of them total. Hatched May 26, 2009 That makes them around 7 1/2 weeks old at the swap.

If I don't sell this lovely silkie pair before, I will bring them to the swap. Their combs could be a bit darker...and they have gotten darker in the last month or so. Gorgeous foot feather, correct toes. I trimmed a bit around their eyes so they could see.

This would be a greater breeder pair for someone. They are almost 6 months old and the young man has been doing the rooster dance for a short while...now getting the breeding idea down pat. The pullet hasn't come quite that far yet...she is like

...hopefully she'll be like

soon.

I did notice that she is starting to go into the nest and sit around, so I don't think she is far away from laying.

We are asking $50 for the pair.

Did you all miss me? I've been without internet access for 3 days now and it feels like 3 months!! Funny how dependent (addicted) we are...

The good news is we closed on the house and are now officially in Polk City!! I'm nowhere near having things unpacked, but that will come with time. See you all at the swap!!
