Chances of chick catching MG this way?

Hello everyone! Long story short
I have 3 months old chicks MG free and old hens which have MG, they have been seperated since day 1. I've been practicing remarkable biosecurity since day one. Today 3 of chicks ran out of the coop and I found 1 of them near feathers of an old Mg pos. hen, scattered on the soil, feathers were there for about a month, maybe a bit longer. What are the chances he got infected in case he pecked on them? The temp here are pretty high, around 38-40C and feathers were exposed to the sunlight. Does anyone know? I know I should cull my old chickens, I'm just waiting for my husband to get back cause I have no heart to do that.

Mycoplasma lives "days to weeks" on surfaces, but information I have found on re-stocking on old soil states that several weeks of hot, dry weather should render it disinfected.
