I had to nudge it a little bit, but after i placed two bricks inside and outside the bin everything was fine.
Now that i have observed them a bit more, i think some of them are Limpy's and some are from Erpelchen. They both owe me a cigar!

I bought 7.5m (25') of plastic »hardware« cloth today. I will cut that lengthwise so i can fence in about 25m² (270sqft) outside of the duck-house, where they have cover from a pine tree. There they will get a slightly larger tub where they can get in and out without those pesky bricks. Looking forward to see the other ducks reactions…
