Charleston we have a Broody here!

Blue Pekin? I've never heard of one. Is that a real thing, or a science project you're working on?
Magnolia Ducks has been hatching and brooding ducklings from our flock . The drake is a fawn and white Indian Runner and the hens are Rouen, Pekin, and a K/C. The Pekin ducklings all are turning blue. None of the others hatched from this flock have done that so the blue has to be coming from the pekin.

Here are my little accidental Blue Pekins. The big one is Barbra Lewis and the smaller one Carl is a week younger. 20190911_160627.jpg 20190911_160625.jpg this is their last night in the brooder. They should have been out last week but I couldn't bring myself to part with them. 20190817_101335.jpg This is my older Blue pekin, you can see the gray on his fuzzy butt, it extends all the way to his neck but only visible when he flaps his wings.
