Well thanks and looking forward to it!
Pics-absolutely, however, I tripped and fell 2 weeks ago, thought I broke my right shin, x-rayed, just a whopper of a goose egg, err, should I say duck egg, shucks, I remember reading something on here about emus! Do they lay eggs??

I degress, 4 days after accident learn that my right ankle was Messed Up too. MD states that can happen in an injury, 1 pain blocks or blends in with the other. My shin is better. Ankle slowly healing so I'm off crutches and just hobbling along.
Sooo, DH has had to do double time taking care of chicks while I point, uh, I mean, supervise, hehee.
Hopefully this weekend I'll get the pics. I'll need help sexing them if possible?
I like the idea of this thread. Don't know much about ducks (or emus) but will enjoy the company, fun and learning curve!

we are patient on pics and can try to help with sexing .. no expert here lol i want emus one day but mainly chickens and ducks for now ...!!

Hehee, you didn't scare me off, just slow typing. . .and I did forget to refresh! Yikes, looks like this is going to be a fun ride. Last week or so I guess I was lurking, just trying to read and catch up. Too medicated to type and would fall asleep reading.

DH is asleep and I go here to catch up and learn, but type with 1 hand with laptop screen pulled low to block the screen glare. He's a patient soul with me, realized that somethings you just gotta go alog to get along. Ans plus, thankfully he's really on board with the chickies and selling the eggs. Whew, pretty lucky so far.

oh and yes emus do lay eggs .. they take like anywhere from 49-56 days ... i been reading some .. not all knowledgeable but learning what i will need when i can get some !!
