Been a quiet few days here! Anyone got anything exciting going on this week?

I'm trying to make sure I'm prepared and ready for the Ohio National Poultry Show this weekend. Not taking any of my birds, just going to spectate. But it's the 150th APA anniversary, so it's gonna be crazy this year! Plymouth Rock Fanciers national meet, Phoenix Breeders Association national meet, Ameraucana Breeders Club district meet and potential last qualifying meet for Splash Ameraucanas, Dorking Breeders Club national meet (very excited to see lots of Dorks!!), Naked Neck Breeders Society national meet ( ), plus a bunch more. I'm super excited!!

The Ohio National is VERY exciting! Won't they do a poultry prom or something this year, I believe I've heard something along those lines. As for me, Cruella is due to get her babies sometime this weekend!!!

It is! So many breeds and varieties that you never get to see otherwise, even online! Gonna be hard not to bring something home

I don't know about a prom, but I have heard they're having a fancy dinner that requires a ticket for entry. It might be APA members only as well, not sure. I'm not going to that part, just the show itself. I'm much more interested in the birds than I am in any kind of social event like that


Also, yay Cruella!! Excited to see how many babies she ends up with this time! (And anxious to hear about how they do with their first steps out of the nest )

We had fire trucks come to our school because there was to much corn flour on the calzones so it caused a bunch of smoke.

This is bs. They can’t even legally keep us here because there isn’t water. And I heard some of the teachers saying they were going to keep us here till lunch, then ‘reassess.’ If I had my truck I would just leave, but I took the bus today.

You'll definitely bring some home. It might be a dinner, not sure really. Everyone is there for the birds either way, so I don't think the dinner will be the highlight. I have the exact same feelings for Cruella, not sure how it's going to go!
