Quail are still hatching!!!!!!!!
I figure my coturnix hatch will be interesting. Hatching them in sportsman and I definitely can't move that thing! Thinking of putting netting over the top of the hatching tray to prevent jumpers.Yes, I know! I am an experienced quail hatcher. Before I ever set my first quail eggs back in the 1970's, I had read to set the incubator in the bathtub before opening. That's what I did and a good thing!
I have also hatched ringneck pheasants. Those things are psychotic! I never want to raise them again.
A total of 9 hatched. Normally that would be a bad hatch, but under the circumstances, a very good one! None of the giant eggs or tiny ones hatched, but I didn't really expect them to.
What's a doeling?
I have a brand new automatic Janoel incubator I'd like to put up for auction. Is it legal on either the Crazy New 24 Hour auction page or the Just In Time Hatching Egg Auction and Bin thread? Or is there another thread for that kind of stuff?
