Okay this is according to Storey's guide to raising ducks written by Dave Holderread

Oats are lower in energy and have more than 4 times the amount of fiber that corn and wheat have. Most ducks initially are not fond of oats and may take some time to learn to eat them
In general ducks that have 5-25% of their diet in oats grow slower, have fewer leg and wing deformities have better-quality feathers and are less likely to be fat or eat feathers, produce more off spring and live longer
Because of their high fiber content it isn't advisable to include them at more than 5-25% of ration.

So giving oats once in a while or adding to their diet in equivalents advised here should cause not problems
I’m gonna see if mine like the oatmeal.. for sure.

I have always put it in FF so not sure if they would eat it plain but if they will eat plain cherries which to me have no taste then I'd say they would probably eat oatmeal let us know what you find out.
