Cheerios

Im a bit late and i dont know if someone already said something about this but you have to be careful with cheerios because of the pesticides used on the wheat. I know with reptiles you shouldnt feed crickets cheerios if your going to give them to your reptiles because the pesticides stay in the crickets. I wouldnt risk it on my ducks, or at least in strict moderation.

Yep...They bang it on the ground and love it..It softens up and they do good with it..Also my Ducks like Shreddies cereal..

If you feed your reptiles crickets that have been eating cheerios it can be harmful to the reptiles because of the pesticides on the wheat used to make the cheerios. So its probably not a good idea to give them to ducks (or humans either, for that matter)

Also, raw rice is perfectly safe to feed to birds. It's an old wives tale that it swells up too much once consumed. My girls have happily demolished 'old' rice I found at the back of the cupboard with no ill effects.

No, but its always good to be aware of whats in your food. Theres lots of unhealthy things in the foods we eat, and pesticides are a huge one. Something that is a poison to some species is never a good idea to consume. There's nothing 'Safe' about chemicals used to kill other species, just cause you don't immediately notice the effects.
