Actually I looked it up and wrapping it up makes it think it’s wrapped in it’s mothers wings and I only do it when they are out of the brooder, it’s the only way I can get them to sleep. and they seem to have the fast feather gene as they already are loosing down in placesPlease don't wrap the chick up, it's not at all natural and it could overheat. Nature has provided a covering of down feathers to protect it and keep it warm. As long as the temperature in the brooder is correct, the chick is fine.
