Update: Power came back on at 10:12 yesterday morning. That means that my house was without electricity for 8 hours and the chicks were with no heat for 4 hours. I got it moved back to my house and they have been stable. I will candle tonight and put them on lockdown tonight. Updates later.

Day 18 Candling + Lockdown!
I’m not gonna keep you waiting. After being at around 55 degrees for 4 ish hours, there are survivors!!!
Results:
3/4 Porcelain Duccles, 1 in question
2/4 Mille Fluers 1 in question
1/1 Chocolate Orp
1/1 Ayam Cemani
1/1 BLRW
0/2 Jubilee Orp

My Notes:
You may have noticed; PD1 and MF1 are missing. They PD1 had VERY FAINT veining. MF1 was moving, but looked about day 14/15 in development.

Questions:
Is AC1 Air cell to small?
How can I fix it?

I put them on lockdown last night. I put down grippy shelf liner, and put grippy shelf liner over my fan. My fan is now in the second setting to power through the shelf liner. I raised humidity. Eggs are spread out through the incubator.

Stats:
99.6-100 degrees
50-65% humidity

Sorry Couldn’t post last night!

Also, I’m on my way to get Laughing chickens and... wait for it... hopefully more Jubliee Hatching eggs! It depends on a couple things though. Also may actually get a chick..? I really don’t know yet though.

Got 2 Roosters and 1 pullet.

Looks like some died, but most of them survived - that’s great news, considering what happened! Resilient little babies. The pictures and stats look good. Fingers crossed for a good hatch, too!

One of them, (not sure if it’s the one that’s pipped) is chirping. Loudly. It sounds distressed. It peeps every 30 minutes and on and off for about 10 minutes. It’s only been pipped for 6 hours so I’m not worried yet. Just a bit worried about the peeping.
