Chick Brooder Cam

Hi,
My agriculture science class received chicks in the mail yesterday from Hoover Hatchery in Iowa. We are brooding them in the classroom. You can view on our 'Chick Cam' at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/avhs-chickens.

The camera will be on most days. Nights are a bit difficult as our school's internet security filter gets in the way.

It is funny when one stands on the feeder in front of the camera and you get a butt shot. lol

I am very happy the camera is working this morning so I can check on them without having to drive to school often.
They seem happy. I will be checking on them an hour or so.

They hatched on Wed, Oct 26th. One pullet was a bit sluggish, but I gave it some electrolytes and she is love'n life. They are doing great. It is funny how they like to sit on the feeder right in front of the camera.

love it.. i have a camera in my laying hens coop and i have it running to my laptop next to this pc... gotta love having a hubby the is a pc genius and works on them for a living..
