Chick missing a a talon... Will it grow in?

I have a polish chick who, on one toe, is missing a talon/nail... not sure what the preferred term is?

I don't know if she was born without it, or had an accident. If she lost it accidentally, it appears to have healed. She walks fine and does not appear to be in pain or discomfort. I'm sure she'll live a perfectly normal life, but I am curious to know if it will it grow in? I can provide pics if needed.

I don't think it will grow in but it shouldn't be a problem either. I have a Brahma bantam chick that has one missing as well. She digs in the shavings just like the others so it hasn't slowed her down at all.
