Chick noises

I ask because at almost 2 weeks I hear less chirping and more trilling type noises . Sort of what I hear from the wild birds outside .

I have 5 week ols brahmas still chirping and have heard my 1 yo rirs chirping too..just a bit different but chirping all the same.thats how they communicate in my case..chirp mainly when its quiet now. used to be constant. also note if the biddies are chirping loudly may need attention as that can be a distress signal

Hm, mine are 5 weeks and still chirp. My big chickens made more adult noises at probably 12 weeks or so, if they were content but communicative it is a soft low growly trill but if they are hungry excited, etc it was is still a chirp. If they are seeming to be content and healthy I would not look a gift horse in the mouth if they are not chirping lol.

Our 4 week olds still "cheep" but it's getting slightly lower in pitch. They're "chirping" more than "cheeping". That hardly makes sense, but I think chicken people may get it. :)
