My chicks will all be right around 3 weeks old on Thursday. I am supposed to have 6 standard and 9 bantam. They all came from TSC on the same day. The one baby (circled in red) is still almost the same size as when I got them! It eats and drinks fine and acts just like the rest of them. Why is it still so small and what could be keeping it from growing as fast as the rest of them?

Just a runt? if so, a cute runt!

She looks like my old English game bantam from TSC. She’s been the smallest by far and still is at 6 weeks. Here’s a photo of when they were just under 3 weeks and she’s around half the size of some of the others. She’s tiny but still healthy!

That is probably what mine is as well. They also came from TSC and I believe that is what others guessed her to be on another thread I posted.

I received 7 chicks and two of them are Jersey giants. They are 19 days old today. One of the jersey's doesn't seem to be growing much, but she is getting feathers. She always was a bit smaller than her sister. She doesn't seem to be able the chirp. Her beak moves and no sounds comes out. she gets around, but isn't as active at the rest. I see her pecking and eating food and drinking water, but just seems a little slower than the rest. Definitely not as active. Not sure is she is getting sick and needs to be seperated. Any suggestions.

Sounds like failure to thrive. Not much you can do, either it will make it or it won't. If something is formed incorrectly than often chicks will die within 2-4 weeks as those defects start to compound.
